KORA AWARDS 2015 CALL'S FOR ENTRIES.

The representative of KORA-All African Music Awards, Wofai Samuel, has officially informed the public that entries for all categories of the 2015 Awards is opened across the African continent and in the Diaspora.
‘The first Music Awards Ceremony to celebrate excellence in musical artistry
in Africa and the diaspora, the KORA Awards is set to take place on the
13th of December in Windhoek, Namibia. Featuring 27 categories across
regions and common genres, there is a monetary reward associated with each
trophy, with the main prize ‘Best Artist of the Continent’ receiving a
grand prize of USD 1 Million. To be eligible for the Best Artist of the
Continent trophy, an artist must have been voted the best of their
respective region (East, West, Southern, Northern, Central).
Warning : The financial reward will only be given to award-winners who are
in attendance at the awards ceremony – absent artists will be awarded the
trophy alone!
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
1 – Kora Awards are opened to all musicians, singers of Africa and its
diaspora living on the continent or abroad.
The competition includes several awards and each artist may enroll in one
or more categories of their choice.
2 – The song or songs participating in the competition must have been
published between January 1st, 2014 and July 15, 2015.
3 – The songs must be of quality, and must not be damaged and must be
readable on any drive.
4 – The artist, author, or composer of the titles in competition must
submit his / her application(s) to the KORA Awards’ Team in Abidjan until
July 20, 2015.
5- A formal letter of authorization to be sent to KORA Awards Committee.
This authorization concerns the use of your image, videos, music and
biography for promotion of the current KORA’s edition at :

The application must include the following elements:
a) digital or CD version of the album
b)Two (2) color publicity photographs in format jpeg, png – NOT passport
or ID photograph;
c) A biography in English and (if possible in French and Portuguese).
d) Digital copy of the video (High quality)

WOFAI SAMUEL, EBUBE NWAGBO, THE PRETTIEST OF BEAUTY QUEENS AROUND AFRICA ATTEND MISS TOURISM NIGERIA 2015.

It was an evening of glitz, glamour and paparrazzi as the creme de la creme from government functionaries, members of the diplamtic corp, business executives and entertainment as well as fashion personalities gathered to witness the crowning of a new Miss Tourism Nigeria World.

The event also included the launch of the maiden edition of NIGERIAN TOURISM AND STYLE AWARDS. The Style Supportive Brand of the year was presented by WOFAI SAMUEL to PHILADELPHIA.

 

Miss Ifeoma Sharon representing Abuja emerged Miss Torism Nigeria walking away with a brand new car and an opportunity to represent Nigeria at the grand finale of MISS TOURISM NOIGERIA WORLD.
Chinonso Opara was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe (she'll represent Nigeria at Miss Globe pageant in Turkey)
Celine Eban won Miss Tourism Nigeria Continent (She'll represent Nigeria at Miss Continent in Ecuador) 
Miss Imo was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Africa (She'll represent Nigeria at Miss Africa USA).

The New Skool Generation of artists performed on Thursday 28th May at the monthly Loud N Proud Live entertainment event. For the event which took place at Vellvet, the artists brought on their ‘A Game’ live band performances.
Artist sets included multi talented singer, song-writer‎& guitarist
Aramide who wowed the audience with her unique skills, ‘Ibadi’ Queen Niniola caused a storm with her perfect vocals and dance synchronized steps which had the audience positively animated.
Handsome D-O had the ladies on lock down which is suave & sexy image.
Hosted by Pundit for the Nollys London/Multi-Award winning Media broadcaster – WOFAI SAMUEL, the event also saw GBT winners (April) rapper Y2G and Daborn – who captivated those present with their unique live band
stage ‎sets.
It was a truly entertaining evening from an eclectic mix of artists of
the new School Generation.
